FeesFees are to be paid in full, or with post-dated cheques. DanceMakers will accept Visa, Mastercard and Debit payments. There is a $30 charge on all NSF cheques. There are no refunds if a class is full, or after the first week of classes, except with a doctor’s certificate. DanceMakers reserves the right to accept or deny registrants, and to remove dancers from the program under certain situations. There are no refunds in the event a dancer is removed for behavioral reasons. There are no refunds for Summer or March Break camps, except with a doctor's certificate.

Discounts - Students receive $25 off their second, third, forth etc. classes
There is a $50, non-refundable costume deposit added on to each class for Winter/Spring session fees. This deposit goes towards Showcase costumes, which performers keep after Showcase. *Classes which are not involved in Showcase are: Junior Kinder Dance, Hip Hop 1, Adult classes.
GO - Mandatory $30 Gymnastics Ontario Insurance Fee paid once per year July 1st to June 30th.
Studio Standards
General Information
Sessions
There are 15 weeks each in the fall and winter sessions. The first day of classes for the Fall Session will be Monday Sept. 19, 2011. The last day will be Sat. Jan. 15, 2012. The first day of classes for the second session will be Monday January 30, 2012. The last day will be June 2, 2012. The following days will be cancelled: Thanksgiving weekend, Christmas Break, March Break, & Easter Weekend. There will be a make-up week for any cancelled classes at the end of each session.
Parents’ Weeks
There are two Parents’ Weeks throughout the year (one per session). Please make every effort to attend these days, as important information will be handed out at this time. All parents and friends are invited to attend.
End of Year Showcase
Most classes participate in the production, typically scheduled at the end of May / beginning of June.
During the winter session, students are allowed only two absents! If they are absent more than two times, they must have permission from DanceMakers to perform in the Showcase. DanceMakers will then decide if the dancer may or may not perform, at their discretion. All dancers must participate in the Dress Rehearsals to be allowed to dance in the Showcase. Act One dancers may watch the second half of the Showcase, if they are not dancing in Act Two. Dancers who watch Act Two must have a ticket, as this is a fire regulation and occupancy law of the Auditorium.
