Kyla has been dancing since age five and has participated in competitive gymnastics up to level six. She has done RAD ballet exams up to Advanced Foundation. She has a strong love for dance and strives to continue learning. She is enthusiastic about creating a safe and inclusive classroom for all dancers so they can dance to their full abilities and be their authentic selves. She has dance training in all styles and has been able to take professional classes in Toronto to expand her training. She is currently enrolled in the dance program at York University to get her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts. She has participated in multiple dance focus shows and performances at York. She has also been teaching for seven years and has had the opportunity to take choreography classes to broaden how she teaches movements and dance to kids aged 3 to 19. She is very passionate about teaching and always ensures everyone in the room enjoys the class, and is given the space to be creative and free while dancing.
